Campbell Guin Wins Big Again: $1.2M Awarded to Client
Campbell Guin represented a local developer in prosecuting claims against the developer’s partners in a business venture to develop and sell a new technology. Specifically, after forming the company, the developer claimed that its partners in the venture breached their fiduciary duty by failing to pay back loans to the developer, siphoning off assets of the company for themselves, mismanaging the business of the venture, stealing corporate opportunities of the company for themselves, and suppressing and withholding company records that the developer had a right to review. Andy Campbell and Todd Campbell tried the case to a panel of three arbitrators and the developer was subsequently awarded damages totaling approximately $1,200,000.
